Reports Manager

The Diamonds Reports Manager provides organisations with the capability to obtain extensive visibility of the information held within your Diamonds Solution at any point in time.

Well presented information, is critical at all levels of the organisation. Operational users are dependent on views of information to carry out their daily tasks. Management are dependent on summarised views of information in order to support their strategic overview and decision making processes. Easily interpreted views of such information are best achieved through reports, whether they are in the form of information lists or enhanced graphical reports. These report requirements can change and evolve with any business as it grows; therefore the ability to adapt your reports is incredibly valuable to your organisation.

Report templates - All Diamonds solutions include a number of standard pre-configured reports. These reports can either be adapted, or new ones created. This can all be done within the Reports Manager environment by the best placed people to understand your requirements – You or your team.

Drill down – Drill around - Reports within Diamonds are available in various formats; single-level lists of information or multiple level drill-down reports are available. The ability to drill down allows easy access to the lowest level of data, which can be invaluable when looking for the root cause of a particular issue.

Filter your report results - When configuring a report in the Reports Manager, relevant selection criteria can be configured which are then made available to you at the point of running the report. Your choice of selection criteria will then be used in order to filter the results of the report so you will only see the exact information that you require. A simple example of selection criteria is the date selection options. When selection criteria options are applied as part of the report design, tabs are automatically generated which display these selection criteria options to the user when accessing the report in the application.

Charts - In certain situations, reports data and information can be better presented to the user by graphical representation. This can be achieved in Diamonds Reports Manager by means of Charts. Chart objects can simply be linked to the reports source data and then this information will be displayed in graphical charts, rich in colour. The colours of the elements within the chart can be easily set for the different elements of the chart through the Report properties.

Export to your favourite application or format - Reports can be configured with pre-determined formats which are applied when the report is run by the user. This allows reports to be generated and exported immediately to applications such as Excel, HTML Browsers and Email applications.
