Process Manager

Process visualisation - Process Manager is a visual design tool that allows you to transform your systems and procedures into meaningful workflows. Workflows can be associated to underlying business objects or data schemes and associated tasks and rules can be easily implemented using the Auto Manager function. Documents can be created using Diamonds Forms Manager and associated to different stages of the workflows, so that they are visible and available when they are required.

Systems and procedures created in Diamonds are represented by a set of steps or stages, with associated tasks attached to them. These can be carried out in a certain order, or in accordance with other business rules that dictate the order of the activities in the flow. Task allocation is also available, allowing you to have complete control of the configuration of your workflow in line with your business.

Business rules - Typical business rules that you may wish to attach to your workflows are things such as payment authorisation limits, document or activity sign off approvals. KPI’s can be implemented as rules throughout the system to measure and monitor performance whether that be measured on a time, monetary or compliance basis. Reminders and escalation alerts can also be set as rules to avoid missing important deadlines or events.

Data dictionary - Diamonds Process Manager contains a powerful data dictionary that allows you to change the descriptions of everything that you see on screen so that you are able to match the language of your business. This feature not only reduces the amount of user training but more importantly encourages user acceptance of the solution within the business.

Security - Extensive role based security is available through Diamonds Security Manager.

Types of workflow - There are 2 primary types of workflow that can be configured using Diamonds Process Manager. Firstly Status based workflows that invoke activities if and when certain statuses are reached and secondly Key-date based workflows invoke activities according to periodic based rules in relation to specific dates These primary workflow types along with the additional rules that can be configured, allow organisations to configure their solution to support the whole of their business needs. Once complete and verified, workflow templates are then categorised and stored in the Diamonds Workflow Repository, ready to be published and made active within your Diamonds solutions when required.
